Well I guess that blog post title was inevitable, but it seemed fitting for this challenge we have to do this week. We had an option of different things we could do regarding storytelling through photos whether it be finding a photo and then telling a story or vice versa. I decided to go with the challenge to pick 5 photos and a title and let the reader tell the stories themselves. So PLEASE feel free to comment on this with ideas of stories because I would love to hear them (since I after all know the real story).
The glorious life of an athletic princess
I had to explore my family archives on our family website to get some of these pictures, but it is a major part of my life story, so I figured it was appropriate.
Happy thinking!

Awww that looks like it hurt really really bad. So let me guess what happened you and your team were all pumped up to play the game so you and your teammate were setting up a spike. When you jumped up to get the ball you hit it really really hard and it took you off balance and made you tilt and you landed on your ankle. Did you sprain it or was it just badly bruised?!

The thing is that those pictures are from a game my sophomore year and I had hurt my ankle earlier in the season, we were playing an easy team so my coach had me sit out so that I could ice it for our games later that day. The ironic part is that my last picture is from my junior year where I badly sprained my ankle and had to be on crutches for three days, that picture was taken a week after my injury! It was pretty rough.

Wow, I hope that spike was worth it! That last photo is a great contrast of images.

Thanks! I was going for a slap in the face, ironically that ankle injury happened the next year and was on the other foot I was icing. Just let Meg from Hercules, I have weak ankles.
